    The Specialty Food Association is soliciting nominations for multiple positions on the Specialty Food Association Board, Specialty Food Foundation Board, and for members of its Industry Working Groups and Committees. 
    Join us Wednesday February 17, 2:00 p.m. ET for a webinar on how to play a part in the incredible work being done by these groups.
    A panel of volunteer leaders will share their experiences with the nomination process and active service. It will be an open, town hall style, info-sharing session with a Q&A. Come with questions about the nomination process and the different volunteer opportunities.

    Now that Q1 is off and running, find out from other members how to continue strong this quarter at our February Share Group, taking place Tuesday, February 16 at 5 p.m. ET.
    How it works:
    After you register, you receive your personal login information At 5 p.m. ET, you login and are welcomed by the SFA host There will be a short orientation, then the larger group will split up into breakouts; you’ll meet one another and address topics of common concern for about 40 minutes. Everyone will rejoin the full group for feedback. The share group is open to all SFA members, but participation is limited -- registration stays open until an hour before the event.

    The Specialty Food Association Board of Directors has appointed Bill Lynch as the President of the organization. Initially appointed Interim President in May 2020, Lynch has been with the SFA for more than 20 years.

    “Since assuming the role of Interim President, Bill’s leadership under the pandemic has been steadfast and creative, launching endeavors such as Specialty Food Live!, and virtual tasting events, all of which provide essential opportunities to our membership during these challenging times,” said Charlie Apt, SFA Board Chair. 

    Having previously served as Vice President of Engagement & Experience, Lynch has vast experience in operations and is a recognized leader in the specialty food and trade show industries. 

    “I am honored to be appointed President of the Specialty Food Association, and will continue dedicating myself to the Association, and our members, who are an essential part our dynamic  $158.4 billion specialty food industry,” said Lynch.
