COVID-19 Response - Weekly Working With Buyers And Risk Mitigation Planning Webinar Series

Specialty Food Association
The SFA is offering two free webinars this week to help companies manage through the COVID-19 crisis.

On Tuesday, May 5 at 1 p.m. EST, Ari Weinzweig, co-founding partner of Zingerman’s Community of Businesses, will present Selling Good Food Right Now, a perspective on how the pandemic has affected Zingerman's 13 businesses, the shift in how good food is being sold right now, including wholesale and mail-order, and how the organization is working to move forward with caring and creativity.

On Thursday, May 7 at 1 p.m. EST, join Paul Medeiros, NSF International, for Stay Open, Stay Safe: Ensuring Safety in Challenging Times as he offers guidance for businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. COVID-19 is challenging the food industry to re-think how to serve business partners while keeping employees and customers safe. Although traditional food safety practices are still of paramount importance, companies are now faced with non-direct food safety consequences. Whether you make your own product or work with a copacker, safety at production facilities is essential.
