Free SFA Webinars This Week - Risk Mitigation Planning: Employment Law And Logistics

Specialty Food Association
SFA is offering two webinars as part of its Business Continuity: Risk Mitigation Planning series this week.

On Tuesday, March 31 at 1 p.m. EST, join Alexandra M. Romero from the law firm Arent Fox LLP, for Employment Law and How It Is Changing. She'll address key labor and employment considerations for SFA members. Recent changes in the law spurred by the coronavirus pandemic will affect how companies provide family and medical leave and manage a safe workplace under OSHA.

On Thursday, April 2 at 1 p.m. EST, join Zipline Logistics' senior business development representative Craig Laughlin for COVID-19 and Your Logistics Operation. He'll discuss how to prep your logistics operation to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing marketplace. As the situation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, it is essential that you communicate and set expectations with business partners to avoid damaging disruptions. The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session, so please bring any shipping questions.

The SFA has organized this series of webinars to help you maintain business continuity in these uncertain times of global pandemic. They're free and actionable. If you cannot attend live, the webinars will be recorded for future review.
